A 1940s cottage in leafy Birkenhead overlooking the Chelsea Sugar Works is home to Stacey Gillies and her family. The art-deco syle home underwent a remodel -stage one, of a larger renovation project. A dated baby blue bathroom was redesigned and extended to include a bath, separate shower and toilet creating a modern and sophisticated wetroom. White marble tiles and a feature wall of mosaics beautifully reflect the morning light that pours into the space.

A small bedroom has also been extended allowing room for an additional bed and spacious play area for the children.

The main entrance was modified by removing the existing dated porch resulting in an entry with scale and light achieved through the high stud and extra large window.
